We have developed upon the research and technology of our original product for abrasive coating and bonding. This process consists of applying one material to another, such as abrasive granules to paper or cloth (coated abrasives).

Coated Abrasive Product  (CAP) code

Backing Type

We produce 3 (three) type of C/A backing :

Note : First Character of CAP (Coated Abrasive Product) code defines the type according to backing product.

Grain & Grit

Grain - abrasive particles classified into predetermined sizes for used
on CAP. We produce 2 (two) types of C/A backing :

1. Aluminum Oxide (AO) mostly C/A with grain AO applied for wood ferrous metal / steel, leather, etc.
   Color of C/A surface is brown.
   CAP code on second character is 2.

2. Silicon Carbide (SC) mostly C/A with grain SC applied for soft  wood, non ferrous metal, glass, plastic, enamel, marble, granite, ceramic, resin, putty, particle board, MDF, etc.
   Color of C/A surface is black.
   CAP code second character is 9
   

Grit  - Opening mesh
We use European standard (FEPA or P Grit).

Coating

CAP code on third character
even digit   : 0, 2, 4, 6, 8     = close coat
odd digit  : 1, 3, 5, 7, 9     = open coat

Close Coat

CAP completely covered by abrasive grain on the coat side. Faster stock removal during use and produces a better finish than open coat ; recommended where loading is not a significant problem.

Open Coat

CAP covered by abrasive grain approximately 50%-70% of the coat side;  recommended where loading is a problem

We produce some product type with : Semi Open according to  the customer's requirement. This CAP is aggressive and resistance to loading.

Bond

We use many type of Resin conform to the CAP code. Even to the maker coat  or sizer coat called Resin over Resin (R/R)
